What’s the best travel tripod under $100?

Many of you are probably in the same shoes that I was in a couple of years ago. I finished spending most of my bank account on the highest quality camera just to realize I also needed a tripod.

Last but not least, the Vanguard VEO 2 is one of the most reliable travel tripods under $100. As a matter of fact, this is the one I actually decided to keep. There are a plethora of reasons why we love it.

For one, it does its job the way that it’s supposed to without any issues. Even after years of vigorous traveling conditions, music videos, hiking, etc; This tripod has never given me or my team any issues. It’s the perfect combination of having a sturdy build quality and lightweight design.

One of the reasons I decided to keep it was the convenient twist locks. Although it depends on your preference, twist locks seem much less of a hassle and generally less susceptible to damage. The primary downside with this tripod is it doesn’t extend as far as many others on this list. At max, it extends up to 53.1 inches.

Price was ultimately was the deciding factor for my purchase.
